My name is Trevor Brown and I own and operate Atlas. I founded the company to bridge a passion for flying drones with a love for photo and video. I love creating videos of all types, as well as flying a drone whenever I can.

I’m an aviation lover and hold a private pilot license, as well as the FAA part 107 certification that allows me to operate drones commercially. That’s a fancy way of saying I fly drones legally and make money doing it. I have a background in business and recently finished an MBA in finance. This experience gives me a unique perspective on how to market businesses and produce content that converts and tells your story.

I’ve lived in Utah most of my life and love the state. I currently live in Utah County with my amazing wife and three energetic kids.

  • To legally fly drones commercially, one must take and pass the part 107 test from the Federal Aviation Administration. This is necessary to learn airspace requirements, altitude limitations, and other important regulations.

  • Chances are, yes! There are laws and restrictions around airspace and where we’re able to work. If you live anywhere near an airport, military base, or populated area, reach out and I’d love to check to see if a waiver is needed for airspace authorization.
